Gripmeister Lighting Services was founded in 1995 as a company to serve independent filmmakers and the budget-conscious producer in the Tri-State area. The company’s philosophy was simple; help the small producer grow and in turn, we will grow. Over a decade later, this philosophy seems to have worked quite well.

Today, the company is larger and has moved into a new location. Our new facility includes a spacious office area and recently remodeled studio. It is complete with full power, grip, and
lighting support.

As a result of acquiring more equipment, we now have a separate building for grip and
electric support, with ample parking for our trucks and other vehicles. In addition, we have also expanded our rental inventory to include many new items. All of this is dedicated to helping you achieve the professional standards your clients have come to expect.
